13 Signs Your Website Needs a Redesign
Table of contents
Most business owners do not wake up one morning thinking, “Do I need a new website?” The question usually starts after something feels off.
Leads slow down. Customers keep asking questions your website should already answer. Competitors suddenly seem easier to find online. Or your site simply feels harder to use than before
This website redesign checklist will help you spot the biggest warning signs and decide whether it is time to start planning your next website.

When to Redesign Your Website
The best time to start a redesign was probably three months ago. The second-best time is now.
There is no single “best” season for when to redesign your website. The right timing depends on your business and when you can realistically give the project the attention it deserves. A contractor may prefer to build during a slower season, while an ecommerce company may want to avoid making major changes right before its busiest sales period.
What matters most is working backward from when you want the new website live. At WebTek, most website projects take about 6 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch. If you want a new site ready to support your first-quarter goals, waiting until January to begin means you may spend much of Q1 still building it.
If several of the outdated website signs above already sound familiar, there is usually little benefit in waiting for the “perfect” time. Start the conversation early and give yourself room to do the redesign well.
