Akron is a borough of about 4,200 people in northern Lancaster County that grew from a village called New Berlin, a town that once counted more than 50 cigar-makers and, for most of the 20th century, ran on the Miller Hess Shoe Company. Today it runs on small businesses, and our six Akron projects cover a surprising spread: Martins Pretzels selling hand-twisted pretzels online, DeverCare in home health, Dube Engineering, Melron Industries, and Eby Exteriors in construction.
The sixth client is Akron itself — we built the borough government's own website at akron-pa.com. That work runs from an e-commerce store shipping pretzels nationwide to the municipal site where residents look up meeting minutes. The projects below tell the rest.
