Q: I need my website updated. What is the best way to get you those changes?

You can fill out the Request Support form or email the support team at support@webtek.cc. If there is a lot to go over and you feel more comfortable covering those changes in person, you may schedule an appointment to come into our office and discuss it with a support representative.

Q: I have big pictures or large attachments I need to get to you. How can I send them?

If the file is under 10MB, you can email it to us. If it is larger or you have multiple files, we suggest using dropbox.com. It’s free and simple to use.

Q: I can't see my website, but I can see everyone else's websites, why?

First be sure you have internet access. Can you access other websites for sure? If you cannot, it could be you simply do not have internet. Reboot your internet router and try again. If the problem persists, contact your internet service provider (Comcast, Windstream, Verizon, Blue Ridge, Frontier, etc.).

If you have internet access and can see other web pages, then it most likely is because you got blocked by our server firewall. This can happen if you or someone from your office tried logging in too many times unsuccessfully. This throws a red flag to our firewall and it blocks your access. In that event, go to www.whatismyip.com, record your IP number and call/contact us to remove the block. Then verify your login information is correct or reset your password in your control panel.

Q: My email isn’t working, how can I get it working again?

Start by reviewing our Troubleshooting email pages. There is lots of free practical solutions to common email problems. You can also Google search email issues too. You can also call out Support team, but we do charge for Information Technology (IT) phone support.

Q: Can I update my website or do you need to?

That depends. If you know web coding, you can FTP and change the coding yourself. If you have a content management system (CMS) on your website, you might be able to change things yourself. If you don’t know code or have a CMS, we will need to make the changes.

Q: How long do changes take to make?

For most simple, smaller changes, we can have them done within 3 business days. More time consuming changes, obviously will take more time.

Q: How much do website updates cost to do?

Depends on how long it takes to do them. We charge $75/hr in 1/2 hour increments. Most updates don’t take long once the site is built. For larger updates, we can give you a price quote and a time frame.

Q: Can you get me to show up better in search engines?

Yes. We are a full scale internet marketing company that can develop a marketing plan to get you more traffic. You can review our Internet Marketing pages to find out more what we can do for that, and then contact our sales team to get started.

Q: Do you have a Control Panel I can use to administer our email accounts?

Yes. Each hosting account comes with a control panel that allows you to setup new email addresses, change passwords, create forwarders, configure spam filters and more. Contact our support team if you don’t know your login to your control panel.

Q: I don’t know if I should continue updating my old website or just get a new one built.

That is a very good question to ask yourself. Just a few short years on the internet, can make a website look dated or neglected. Sometimes a fresh new look and new coding can carry lots of added benefits. Our sales consultants can help you decide what makes the most sense for your company.

Q: Can you make my website mobile friendly?

Most new websites are built with using responsive web design, meaning the websites will automatically adjust to small screens like smart phones and tablets. If you website does not have this functionality built into it, we might be able to convert it. Q: I have a question about my WordPress website, can you help me?

Q: I made updates to my WordPress website, but I'm not seeing the changes.

This is a common issue when updating websites, this usually has to do with your browser caching data. Browsers store recently accessed data so that the website will load faster if you try and access again in the near future. Clearing your cache will most likely solve this issue.
