With the passing of the Affordable Care Act on March 23, 2010 a lot of changes were about to take affect in the coming years. Because this was a giant shift for healthcare and how small businesses provide it to employees there was a lack of information provided initially. PA Healthcare needed an accessible way to present information to businesses seeking it.
We needed a way to organize a lot of information that would best inform small business owners and sole proprietors about the changes that would be taking place. We chose to design and develop a responsive website with a custom Wordpress build used for the content management system. The website would be a hub for all necessary information and would include events and news for access to up-to-date information.
We created a styleguide that was clean and minimal while being warm and inviting.
PA Healthcare.org provides resources to help businesses determine the best options for their business through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
We redesigned the PA Healthcare.org website to provide information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in an organized and efficient way. The site is optimized for use on any device and performs well on mobile devices.
The main focus of this site is to provide info to businesses about the Affordable Care Act and the options that come with it. A main call to action has to be clear and focused.
Provide information small businesses actually need to prepare for the Affordable Care Act.
Because healthcare reform takes place over several years it's important to provide up-to-date information to keep small businesses informed.
Workshops and events help expand on information provided on the website so they have to be highlighted to better serve small businesses.
